"My journey was cancelled due to cancellation of my onward flights. I had to return early through a different airport. I cancelled the return journey by telephone, to the number listed on your booking email, on July 24. I asked for a refund but the operator informed me that there was no chance of a refund. I debated with him about this and he insisted it was in the terms and conditions. I said that surely informing in advance was better than not cancelling at all and leaving the driver waiting at the airport. He continued insisting that a refund would not be forthcoming. I informed him that I would not be using TaxiCode again. Despite this cancellation by phone, the operator DID NOT INFORM THE DRIVER ABOUT THE CANCELLATION. As a result, the driver turned up at the airport at the previously booked time on July 25 and waited two and a half hours at the airport. I did not receive his message until the following morning, as I had gone to bed early. This is a SHOCKING state of affairs. Because of the laxity of your operator, the poor taxi driver made a useless trip to the airport and wasted several hours of his time. I am absolutely disgusted with TaxiCode and now will DOUBLY never use your company again. I had to ring the driver to apologize for your shocking ineptitude, allowing him to go to the airport when I had already cancelled. Such a very poor service from TaxiCode. The drivers were excellent, but TaxiCode, as the booking company was poor."
